What we explore

Curriculum

Bloom sessions help children build confidence, character and connection through practical, age-appropriate topics.

We don't just teach children what these skills mean. We give them a safe space to practise them. 🌸

🌱 Years 2–4: Growing in Confidence

During Years 3–4, our curriculum focuses on helping children understand themselves, communicate confidently and develop healthy relationships with others.

Confidence & Self-Esteem

Children explore their strengths, qualities and individuality while learning how to believe in themselves.

Emotional Intelligence & Regulation

Children learn to recognise, understand and communicate their emotions rather than simply reacting to them.

Friendships & Conflict Resolution

Children explore what healthy friendships look like and learn practical ways of dealing with common friendship difficulties.

Communication & Social Confidence

Children develop the confidence to communicate effectively with both other children and adults.

Manners, Empathy & Respect

Children learn that good manners are about more than saying “please” and “thank you” — they are about making other people feel valued and respected.

Teamwork & Positive Choices

Through group challenges, children learn how their choices and behaviour affect the people around them.

How children learn at Blooms

Sessions are active and practical. Children are not expected to sit through long lessons — they practise skills in ways that feel natural, social and fun.

Role-play

Realistic scenarios help children practise what they might actually say or do.

Discussion

Children hear different perspectives and learn to express their own ideas respectfully.

Team challenges

Games and problem-solving activities build cooperation, confidence and leadership.

Reflection

Children notice their progress and connect each skill to life beyond the club.
